CPPE: An Improved Phasmatodea Population Evolution Algorithm with Chaotic Maps

The Phasmatodea Population Evolution (PPE) algorithm, inspired by the evolution of phasmatodea population, is a recently proposed meta-heuristic algorithm that has been applied to solve problems in engineering. Chaos theory increasingly enhance performance and convergence algorithms. In this paper, we introduce chaotic mapping into PPE propose new Chaotic-based (CPPE) algorithm. map replaces initialization population original convergence. We evaluate effectiveness CPPE testing it on 28 benchmark functions, using 12 different maps. results demonstrate outperforms terms both speed. analysis, found with Tent showed improvements 8.9647%, 10.4633%, 14.6716%, respectively, Final, Mean, Standard metrics, compared convergence, Singer an improvement 65.1776% average change rate fitness value, Finally, our stock prediction. predicted curve was relatively consistent real curve.
